I'm just going to make this short and sweet tonight.  There was no running involved in my day except for the running around at work to get out in time for my dreaded dentist appointment.  Three shots, 4 fillings, and one extremely numb face did not make for the ideal workout situation.  I got out from the dentist at about 12:40 and did not feel my face in it's entirety until about 5:30. The good news though is that for having been to the dentist only twice in like the last 20 years, 4 fillings is the worst I have.  The worst is over..I think.
Anyhow!  No running for me today which is a total bummer.  It was about 62 degrees which would have been perfect for my required easy 2 miles.  Now, we're under a winter weather advisory for tomorrow and the rest of the week isn't looking so great either.  Looks like it's back to the gym for a while! (See how casual I'm acting toward more winter weather?!  Very grownup of me, I know.)

Goodnight all, my new smile and I are headed to bed!

P.S. - Welcome to my new followers who are not my two best friends or my mom!  It's kind of a big deal for me to share this with more than just family, so I hope you are somewhat entertained and/or slightly motivated with your own workouts.   Enjoy!

  1. Yay Sar! I'm glad you have new followers...now others can be entertained by your writing style! :)
I bought new running shoes today! I wasn't planning to actually buy them, but the salesperson was pretty helpful! I talked to him like I was actually going to be running in them, so now I'll feel bad if I don't! I didn't even know what to ask about since it's been three kids, twenty pounds and about ten years since I've run competitively! I'm going to plan on running in some 5K's this summer! I like to run with the stroller because it's kind of an excuse for being slow! People are just impressed that you're pushing the extra weight! I meant to comment on that in your other blog!

Thanks for motivating me...good luck with your gym workouts! Come on spring!!!

    Love ya,
    Megan.

  2. I hope your face is feeling better! I'm ready to get back to running as well - if I don't get to the gym tonight I'm determined to do DD tomorrow morning. I need to get some miles in for sure!
